Chinese Scroll Cell Phone

Very slick concept design from designer Yun Liang. The phone will utilize upcoming flex-screen technology (ePaper) to mimic traditional Chinese scrolls that must be ‘un-rolled’ to be read. You only have to un-scroll the screen if you need visual input, otherwise all dialing functions can be conducted directly from the outside of the cylindrical unit.
Imagine a colleague asking to use your cell phone, and you pulling this out of your pocket!

The iBonsai (not the real name)

Recharge your cellphone, iPod, iPhone and camera with this USB solar powered bonsai tree by French designer
Thanks to 54 tiny photovoltaic panels, the iBonsai (we just made that name up) will store energy in a hidden battery during the day, allowing you to recharge your gadgets even at night.
Hate wire clutter? Who doesn’t. The bonsai charging tree cleverly hides all wires and plugs under the tray.

Swimp3

Finis just announced the SwiMP3, a waterproof MP3 player which uses bone conduction to vibrate the sound directly into your head via your cheek bones (it actually attaches to your goggle straps, but we've also seen a prototype for goggles with a bone conduction MP3 player built right in). They don't hav much storage capacity, but they say it has enough space for 30 songs, which sounds like it should clock in somewhere around 128MB.
The SwiMP3 consists of swim goggles with an MP3 player using headphones that rest flat on the cheek bones, between your ears and your eyes, so that you hear the music through bone conduction rather than through your ears.
